What an enjoyable book! In A Wallflower Christmas we visit our favorite group of girls at Christmas time. This story was the story of Hannah and Rafe, Lillian and Daisy's oldest brother. Even though this book doesn't focus intensely on the couple, it works nicely. I don't know why I didn't feel...

First hundred pages had me totally engrossed in the book. Then it quickly became a cheesy romance novel, which I'm not into...

When Rafe Bowman comes from America to England in the hopes of securing his future by marrying the titled Natalie Blandford, he arrives hoping that this match will be tolerable, and hopefully suitable for his business. When fate intervenes however, and he falls madlessly, hopelessly in love with Natalie's cousin, Hannah, he puts all business dealings aside, even if it means infuriating his controlling father. The Wallflower women, Daisy, Lillian, Evie and Annabelle get wind of the love affair brewing between Rafe (Lillian and Daisy's brother) and Hannah, they contrive to seal the romance, much to the chagrin of the other parties involved. A lighthearted Christmas romance full of erotic, romantic love scenes.

I usually don't like 'theme' books like this but the Christmas sentimentalism wasn't heavy handed.

Lillian and Daisy's brother, Rafe Bowman, has arrived from America to make a match with the very beautiful Natalie Blandford. His sisters arrange a meeting with Miss Blandford's companion, Hannah Appleton, in order to learn more about Natalie. Rafe and Hannah strike sparks off of each other right way. Hannah cannot support a marriage between Natalie and Rafe. And Rafe wants to get to know Hannah a little better.

This is a nice way to revisit The Wallflowers. I actually liked this book better than Daisy's story. Rafe and Hannah are an interesting couple, though I wish a little more time had been spent on their relationship. My rating: 4 Stars.
