“I definitely enjoyed this second book of the trilogy more than the first book. The flow into the continuation of the story is good, and it picks back up with a quicker pace, as oppose to the first book, where the beginning of the Morrigan's Cross is much slower.
As other readers of the trilogy stated, once you get invested in the story by the end of Morrigan's Cross and into Dance of the Gods, it is an enjoyable read. I really enjoyed Blair's tough exterior with a more tender and a bit of fragile interior. Larkin's larger than life and loyal character is the perfect balance for Blair, and I enjoyed reading the development of their relationship.
I'm looking forward to reading how the journey/adventure ends in final installment, Valley of Silence, and reading about Cian and Moira's story.”
