This book is great for any teacher to read because it shares great ideas on how to handle the classroom. I personally really like this book because it has given me good ideas to implement in my classroom. I can use this book in the classroom by implementing the ideas from it to my teaching and the management of students. I really like the layout of this book as well. It gives 55 things to know and explains each one in good detail!

Every teacher should read this book. All of it won't apply in every classroom, but most of it can be used at some point.

I'm glad I read it - reminded me of the way I had managed (and will again soon) a classroom. Some of his rules and methods are questionable - especially the way he suggests repeated to deceive students to get certain behaviors. But otherwise, good read for me right now.

Great book with a lot of life and leadership lessons. I appreciate "old-school" in a world that hesitates to hold each other accountable!
