I usually love reading an Alex Delaware novel...Kellerman's novels are typically an escape (albeit a scary escape). It took my a long time to get into the story and even then I really didn't enjoy it. Interesting plot and always enjoy Milo - but they all seemed off. Can't put my finger on it,...

Not my favourite by a long shot and agree with several other reviewers, it's just a bit too slow and well can't quite put my finger on it but certainly not a classic Kellerman/Delaware book.

Kellerman is losing his touch. I used to devour his books in a night without being able to put them down. Now it takes a week. Still worth reading, but not as good as he used to be.

Right in line with his Alex Delaware series.

I like Milo the best. This was intriguing, yet I was a little disappointed with the ending. I would recommend this book to others. Has several subplots and twists and turns.

This is not one of Kellerman's best. It was dragged out and more gory than usual. I can't say that I loved it but would still read more of his series hoping to like them as much as I have in the past.

Alex Delaware and Milo Sturgis are like old friends. The mystery is predictable and the ending is unsurprising. It's not a book "that you can't put down" but it's comfortable and familiar.

It's a great book, but it is moving slower for me than Kellerman's others. I can't pinpoint why. At almost halfway through, it just began to pick up speed.

It starts off really good but bogs down in some places.
