Aurelia is the crown princess of Tyralt and someone is trying to kill her. Robert, her old classmate and son of the king's old spymaster returns to the palace from the frontier to protect her.
After four years, the two are still fast friends, but Robert is getting more worried as the assassination attempts on Aurelia get more frequent. In the end, he may have to put Aurelia in danger to catch the culprit. But Robert is also attracted to Aurelia and is wary of putting her in any danger, no matter how small.
