It was awful. Sorry Julia Quinn. I couldn’t even finish it. I read the first eight chapters and skipped till the last three chapters. It felt like I'm reading the first book of the series. The love between Thomas and Amelia was empty far too different then the love between Grace and Jack. When I first read the reviews they were recommending not reading this book. But still I said to myself it's Julia’s book of course they are wrong. OH! How I'm the one who’s wrong.

This is part 2 of The Lost Duke Of Wyndham. I love how this book is written. It is like Reading the Lost Duke of Wyndham again, except on this hero Thomas' and heroine Amelia's view. All the things you were told about in the first book, you can know exactly what went on in this one. The heroine Amelia and Thomas have been engaged forever-really-and he his happy just having a finance. He doesn't think of her at all. When he finally does take the time to know her and falls in love with her, his cousin comes along who may be the real Duke! Great story and conclusion to the first book.

Is it just me, or did I just stumble on a book that was a waste of my time. I knew before I started that this book was Thomas’s version of what happened, Jack‘s version is here. But I didn’t realize it would have been so repetitive. And I wanted more interaction between the hero and heroine. It just seemed to be lacking. I wanted to know more of what happened after the fact, of Thomas adjusting to his new status with Amelia’s help. But we didn’t get much of anything beyond that… oh well…

i most enjoy this book2, and yes its quite redundant reading the same scene but in another point of view but actually it will save us money if the author combine their story in to one book. what do you think?

Great book to read if you read the first one... it was nice seeing the other side of the coin for this story, especially since Thomas's feelings were left out of the book along with Amelia who basically was non exsisting in the first book save for a few chapters, i really wanted to know thier feelings towards each other and this book filled that need

very Delightful i really enjoyed it

I do not enjoy reading this book coz some scenes are like repetition frm scenes frm Book 1. What a waste of time. In the end, Thomas did marry Amelia.

    I love Book 1 though.
