“17-year-old Lulu Pangloss may be the last uninfected woman on earth. A zombie outbreak, or xombie as it's being called thanks to the infection starting in women, has spread into an epidemic. With the help of the man Lulu thinks might be her father, she is allowed to board a nuclear sub headed for Lord knows where. The ship's crew is made up of a limited number of soldiers, boys, and Lulu, who proves herself to be quite resourceful.
A pretty good zombie read. Some of the actual infection stuff lost me a bit or got a tad hokey, possibly in an attempt to be different from the other stuff out there. The story itself was a good read, though, overall. ”
