  • Agnes Little: Is nicknamed Mouse, by Nana Pete. Benny's older sister and Honey best friend (and cousin). Her goal in life is to become a saint and strive to be perfect. She loves to run and she has blond hair and blue eyes.
  • Honey Harper: A rebellious 15 year old that doesn't follow the rules at Mount Blessing. Has red hair and is Agnes best friend. Has a ceramic Siamese cat, the only thing that her mother left behind for her. She named him George. Her is scared of the dark.
  • Nana Pete: Also known as Petunia. She is Loving old woman. The grandmother to Agnes and Benny. Mother of Leonard, also known as Issac, and Lillian.
  • Benny Little: Also known as Benedict. Agnes' little brother.
  • Emmanuel: He is the leader of the Believers at Mount Blessing.
  • Veronica: Emmanuel's second in command at Mount Blessing, but eventually thinks that she runs Mount Blessing.
  • Lillian: The aunt that Benny and Agnes aren't allowed to talk about. She is Issac's (Leonard's) younger sister.
  • Issac Little: Also known as Leonard, though he changed his name when he came to Mount Blessing. He is the father of Agnes and Benny; son of Nana Pete; husband of Ruth (Samantha); and the older brother of Lillian.
  • Ruth Little: Also known as Samantha before she changed her name. She is the mother of Benny and Agnes.
  • Winky Martin: Honey lived with him at Mount Blessing for 7 years at the Milk House. Likes to make butterfly gardens. Has his own TV, even though it's not allowed.
