The ship is controlled by a murderously cruel captain and is sailed by a mutinous crew. Charlotte finds herself caught between a bitter feud between captain and crew, and she ends up getting accused of murder where she is taken to trial and found guilty. Charlotte must clear her name to escape the consequences of the accusations.
