I enjoyed the philosophy of this book. I always like to see real examples of how schools change. The schools were very honest about where they were and what they wanted to do to increase student achievement. More and more folks seem to be getting on board with the "data driven instruction"...

I enjoyed the philosophy of this book. I always like to see real examples of how schools change. The schools were very honest about where they were and what they wanted to do to increase student achievement. More and more folks seem to be getting on board with the "data driven instruction" approach to education. This is something that I participated in, during the mid 90's in Houston. No kids fell through the cracks. Kids succeeded! I found room for creativity, and I liked the structure and continuity of instruction K-6. `

Great ideas for moving schools ahead. Lots of ideas that could dovetail into a 2.0 classroom.
