This was a collection of three maid stories. The first was of Shirley, a 13 year-old girl who gets a job with a woman, store owner. It was cute, but, ah..the ending was kind of bland. The second story was about a maid(who curiously looks like "Emma") and the little boy who she takes care of, and he hangs on to all the time. He tries to heal a baby bird, but it ends up dying. The little boy, sad didn't cling on to her as much, but made a new friend his own age in the end. Oh, there was a guy who was interested in the maid, too, who curiously looked like William. Hmm. The last story was of a maid who had an elderly employer who kept irritating them playing practical jokes. He angered her but, she stayed. He ended up dying, and left her a note, that he was sorry for annoying her.
O.K. collection of stories. The Emma series is much more interesting.

I read this manga by the author and I liked it. But I do not think that it is as good as the Emma series she writes. But she still makes me love Victorian England even more.
