It is different because the main character Novalee and she is only seventeen years old and she gets pregnant and runs away from home with her boyfriend but he ends up leaving her and she ends up living in Walmart and giving birth there. This is relatable yet different because teen pregnancies are fairly common but not many people run away from home and live in Walmart. I like this book so far because it is interesting how Novalee is making all these connections because her boyfriend, Willy Jack, left her at a Walmart and she is ultimately creating a better live for her daughter rather then the life it would be with two teenage parents. ”
