“I'm a big fan of Steve Martin. I read this book years ago, via audiobooks, and I think it was read by the actor himself. Very good romantic story of a man's longing for female love. It was later made into a movie with Steve Martin, and I thought the movie version was a very good adaption of the book,”

“Again, Steve Martin is an author?? Who knew. I saw this movie and loved it but I had no idea that there was a book behind it. Wow. I liked the book better than the movie. I found this book to be worth two reads. And I rarely if ever do that. Of course the length was ideal.”
