  • Zoey Redbird: Zoey Redbird (originally Montgomery) is a teenage girl of Cherokee ancestry.on her grandmothers side. At the start of the series, she becomes a vampyre fledgling at the Tulsa House of Night. Zoey is blessed by the Goddess of Night personified, Nyx, with whom she speaks directly in dreams and in person. Zoey also has special markings on her face & body in addition to the normal markings (or "tattoo") of an adult vampyre, something that makes her stand out as a fledgling.Zoey also has an affinity for all five of the elements (air, fire, water, earth, and spirit) and is said to be the first ever vampyre (including fledglings) to do so.She is main character, and High Priestess in training. He is authentic, with his feminine tendencies towards shopping and extensive vocabulary (which the "Twins" get annoyed about). He has an affinity for air, a rare gift for any male vampyre, (Male vampyres usually get physical affinities like extra strength, or Stark's ability to never miss a target) and is able to call and physically manifest it. Due to his elemental affinity, he is able to draw strength and energy from his element. He is often portrayed as intelligent beyond his years, knowing things that an average third former fledgling would not. He is also extremely sensitive, caring, and protective of his friends. Damien was also chosen by a cat, a "blond chubby tabby cat" named Cameron.
