“OK, anybody with a penchant for vampire stories needs to check out this story. I believe that Eric, the main character, is one of the more complex vamps I've encountered. The style of the writing is very casual and easily readable. I think the cover art is the worst thing about the book. It seems to cheapen it. Mind you, there is some cheapness to the character, his strip club hideaway being a good example, but the story isn't cheap. Lots of sex and violence, but some good underlying motives and some new twists on being undead. Enjoyable.”
