“Good, not great. i think of this as an over-blown short story, like he popped off a cool idea and then, for some reason, worked it up into a novella, for it too short to be a novel. I like what he is doing with the whole creature concept, and laugh at the reviews that try to read too much into his gender designations; He is a Physicist, not an Anthropologist or Psychologist. They are gender assigned ONLY to make it comprehensible to human readers. Read it between books:-) ”
