  “Delightful in its entirety, this memoir shows the person that the writer was and his life and concerns quite transparently and thoughroughly - only the clean minded need open this though. It is about study, writing, and more along the lines. ”

  “I do not like to read autobiographies since I am of the opinion that people tend to distort reality to show themselves in better light. The only reason I read this book was because of the enormous respect I have for Isaac Asimov as a writer. I found it to be very funny, quite touching, thought-provoking and more importantly, sincere. Here's someone who doesn't mind admitting to his failings nor does he believe in being falsely modest. I'd call it my favourite autobiography, but I haven't read any other to compare it against. Strongly recommended.”

  “A nice book to read... speaks about the multi facets of a man whom we know so well as a sci-fi writer... Does bring to light that Asimov's success story did not start as a bed of roses, but rather a tough beginning”
