I am not fond of this book. I am a great Murakami fan but this book just don't sound like him. They are too...ordinary? I don't know the term to use but it didn't have any magic like his other books.

There is no other living author like Murakami. His jazz-like style of writing is unique, and I love all his fiction. I understand that he had been nominated for the Nobel Prize in literature. I hope he receives this honor at some point in his life.
