A very positive and inspirational book - however, proved to be a little predictable!

Delightfully light read about a Seattle neighbourhood, its people, and how their lives are intertwined. The story centers around a knitting store and the local bookstore. Great chick-lit!

I like the premise of making a list of twenty wishes and then seeing what one can do to make them happen.

Loved the concept of making a list of twenty things you have always wanted to do. As a widow I think it would be difficult to narrow it down. The women in this story worked at their lists and the wishes had a strange way of coming true, not necessarily as they had planned it.

This is a great book for old and young alike. It's about living and loving and digging down and finding what really makes you happy. It encourages you to think about your own "twenty wishes" and put your life into perspective.

This wasn't the best novel of all time and it did take me a couple of chapters to get into it, but I gave it five stars because it was just plain nice to read. The plot was predictable and wrapped up very nicely, but that was the novel's simple pleasure. When you have a few lazy afternoons to hang out with a book, this is a good one to choose.
