I've read through this book completely probably 3 times. But if you count all the times I've gone and looked something up, altogether, probably about 6 times. This was one of the first books that really challenged who I thought I was. It made me search my heart and face the music about my faith. It not only challenged me when I first read it, but still does. I reread it a second time just a couple of years ago, and it freaked me out. I recently became interested in reading up on what happend at Columbine as I shut off most of it shortly after the shooting happened because of the media representation. This is by no means a "good" book, but since it was written by the teen's parents and features her own writings and diary enteries, it gives a very specific perspective on the events that happened. I would encourage people to take it for that - the emotional side - rather than taking it all as fact. Reading articles in...

    i first heard about the columbine massacre on discovery and they mentioned about books about this and i researched about it :) i wanted the orange book... rachel's journal but then my uncle bought the wrong one so oh well, i read it WITHIN a week. xD

    WOW! the best book i have ever read.. really touching.

    but sadly, when i went to the USA... i couldn't find the orange book :(
