I think that allowing Alpha to take the fall for her actions would have been a complete contridiction to Frankie's whole philosophy. If she was woman enough to pull off these pranks then she should be woman enough to accept the consequences. She couldn't claim that that she wanted to be treated as an equal but then let a guy get in trouble. She would have essentially have still been a "damsel-in-distress" letting Alpha bail her out. Besides she really wanted people know what she was capable of all along and as she said no one would even have suspected her if she didn't reveal herself.

While I liked the book, I found that I really wound up disliking Frankie, and I feel she's set herself on a path where she will never be happy.
