“First off, Carol Queen has a doctorate in sexology, is an activist, and part owner of Good Vibrations, a women-owned sex emporium. I think her angle on these books (Five Minute Erotica and More Five Minute Erotica), though I have only read More, is to begin sexual fantasies. Similar to those paragraphs one would receive in elementary school where you had to finish the story. In example, "Joey went up the hill. Joey fetched a pail of water. Joey then...[fill in the blank]. More succeeds at this very well, and in a variety of topics ranging from oral sex, anal play, lesbian, gay, transgendered, pornography, strangers, one night stands, couples, holidays, phone sex, elder sex, etc. Something for everyone, I guess. However, if you expect fleshed out details of prolonged sexual encounters you will be sorely disappointed.

I liked 'Art Gallery,' 'Nurse Feelgood,' and 'Our Little Secret.' The last two are by Rachel Kramer Bussel, by the way. Ones I didn't like included 'Zogby,' 'New Territory,' and 'Fused.' (FYI if you don't like the idea of your partner changes sexes on you, avoid 'New Territory.')”
