Helen Keller is one of my Heroines. She overcame multiple handicaps in a way that would boggle most people's minds and went on to become one of the most beloved and respected human beings that this world has ever known.

I myself decided to help people with handicaps as a result of reading this book and seeing the classic film, "The Miracle Worker" with Anne Bancroft and Patty Duke.

I loved learning about Keller when I was a kid, but this book was kind of disappointing.
