  • Tina Anderson: 14-year-old honor student who was shot in a drive by while looking for change for "Blink."
  • Andre Anderson: Tina's oldest brother, good at basketball "the Hoopster", now lives in Northern California, engaged to Gwen.
  • Dixon Theordore: Great at computer hacking. His good friend got shot when he was 12 and have been having sleeping problems ever since. Smart, but gets "Cs" on purpose to not be noticed...wants to be under the radar. Wants revenge for his sister's death. Went to juvenile hall and the deal is that he is placed to mentor an at risk kid named Micah Whitehall.
  • Micah: 12 years old and is at risk for gang activity.
  • Theresa: Tina's older sister who is attending USC.
  • Meeksha "Li'L Gal Blinkie or Blink" Livingston: 22nd Street Merks gang member. Got shot along with Tina while buying ice cream.
  • Teddy: brother of Tina and seeks revenge for her death. he also is Micah's romodel.(main character)
