“A tremendous book. Strongly written and superbly informative. It made me think. A lot. ”

Loved Shirkey on TED talk and followed up with this book. Great examples of the impact of new tools on our daily living.”
“Louise says..."For me this is the definitive text on how the social web is changing the way we do things, including learn. There is a strong sentiment that exposure to new tools and approaches can only make the world richer, but that it is richer not because of the tools or approaches but what people bring to the mix."”

The book highlighted the power of the newly enabled social activity through excellent examples and was supported by social research/group theory. ”

It has informed how I view social networking technology and its affects on human social behavior. Really very interesting to see the big examples how people use the tech create significant change. ”

This is a very well written book that is supported by group theory and human psychology and a diverse set of real world examples. Topics include discussion of the three broad categories of group undertaking: sharing, cooperation, and collective action, and an explanation of the three elements common to all successful social enterprises: the promise, the toolset, and the bargain. An excellent book, that delivers simple but important ideas with great clarity.”
