This is the story of Nicholas. In the last book he was on the edge of turning and was sent on a mission with a message for the prince of his people. Well of course he finds his lifemate however she is not what he expected and come with a LOT of baggage. He finds that his over powering and controlling ways may very well cost him the one he has waited so long for. They go on a few adventures (don't want to spoil it) and his life mate discovers what is causing the miscarriages in their people. She gives them now hope and her lifemate try to help her struggle with her tormented childhood. She struggles with her past and tried to rescue her family for her evil great grandfather Xavier.
