Sally Jean is amazing. This book is absolutely incredible! It's stuffed full of truly creative art, ideas, techniques, and lots of fun along the way. This is by far the best "craft" book I have ever read. It's more than "crafty" though. She takes you on a tour of her studio and also shares family stories that halp make this book even more special.

Sally shows the reader step-by-step how to create gorgeous, fun, special keepsakes and works of art. You will soon be ordering a soldering iron after you read this book, if you don't already own one!

Prepare to be inspired!

I loved perusing this entire book, Michelle Ward said it all in her review! Being in the midst of writing my own book for North Light, I can only hope that it turns out half as well! While I don't really "know" Sally Jean, I do know that this book is truely a reflection of her...so kudos to the North Light team for capturing her essence on each and every page.
Just Divine!!!

Well I think Michelle Ward summed it up beautifully but I will add my 2 cents.. Pretty Little Things is a sumptuous combination of artistry, inspiration and how to all in one pretty little book... Flipping through those glossy pages not only inspired me to dream up something in my own studio, but I had to run out and get 2 gallons of paint and cover everything in Sally Jean Blue... Bravo!!!
WOW! I Just LOVE This Book!

So I have been trying to figure out how all these wonderful charms are made, and here's the book that shows me how!!! I already own one of Sally Jean's lovely charms, and now she shares how to make my own. That's very generous! The photos are yummy, and remind me of one of my favorite magazines (the defunct Victoria). The writing is fun, and the projects are gorgeous AND do-able.
I'd buy it again!!!

This book is fabulous!! You feel like you are entering a world filled with glitter, fairies and moonbeams. Sally Jean takes you step-by-step through the collage process and gives lots of hints and encouragement for soldering. I've been afraid to take the leap but this book is filled with so many wonderful things that I have to learn to solder. You won't be sorry you ordered this one!
