“ As both a pediatrician and a Harvard Divinity student all of his stories usually concern religion, medicine and or children. His frequent use of 9/11 imagery will put off some people but Adrian may have hit the spiritual crisis of the 21st century more squarely than any other author. As a doctor and a divinity student several of his stories hit on the conflict between science and religion and reason and faith but neither never completely wins out. Several of the stories Changling, Stab and Why Antichrist? stake out terrirtory usually reserved for writers of horror fiction and these stories ould be classified as that genre and a supurb example of it. ”

It was recommended by several sources (Time mag, etc) and sounded good! I totally skipped the one about killing animals! A couple were pretty good - I can't recommend it.”
