“I love Karen Marie Moning's writing and have read all her books. However, if a story line is going to continue with cliff hangers at the end of each of the books, there should be a warning in bold print on the front page about the ongoing story line!!! Five books before we receive the answers to questions asked in the first book is ridiculous!!! I have quit reading other authors who tried this tact to get their books sold. I hate to think I will have to give up Ms. Moning, but I will if this is how she plans to write in the future.”

Wait until book 5 is available before reading book 3

I found this book very good, until the ending had to spoil the experience. Really, was it too much to ask to include the last chapter of book 3, as the first chapter of book 4, and that way we just kept hanging by a thread vs rope broken-person drowning?... At least I did not read this book when it was first published, poor people who did, had to wait 1 year for book 4 and who knows how much time for book 5.
Yes, I was very dissapointed with the ending... but the book was good, it would have been great had I just stopped reading the last pages or had all books to continue reading (assuming book 4 and 5 deliver on the expectation)” -

Awful!
“I've been a fan of Ms.Moning for a while and I can say this series has been nothing but a disappointment. Her great writting skills have turn to nothing but "pornagraphy". If I wanted pornagraphy I would buy magazines with pictures. This is supposed to be "Romance" novel. There is nothing romantic about this series. You find nothing but rape, violent sex, revenge, war,anger,hate and hateful characters. Tell me where is the romance in this book or series? I'm done spending money on this kind of trash!”

As awesome as the first two
“So, once again I am drawn into the world of Mac, and I have to say I am just as excited by this book as I have been by the first two. The ending was jaw dropping, and I am even more drawn into the chemistry and dynamics of Mac and Jericho's relationship and obvious tension. I am not a romance reader by nature, but this series has hooked me with the subtle romance, great character development, emotion building sequences and torturous cliffhanger endings (which I love). Torture can be good you know!”
