“The premise of this story, of an adopted American girl raised by English parents and her process of self-discovery after finding her birth parents intrigued me. And I have to say, the story did not disappoint. While at times I found Pippa's emotional journey to drag in some instances, the genuine confusion she displayed as well as the realistic emotions displayed by the other characters lended a realness to a story that could have easily become a series of cliches.”
