My nanny gave me this book and I was up reading it until well past midnight for over 3 nights. It's a truly stunning story that opened my eyes (and heart) regarding the women of Afghanistan and how much they have--and continue to--suffer. It's as beautiful as it is heartbreaking and I guarantee you'll walk away wanting to get involved in their plight.
