Didn’t Like It“Not the greatest bodice ripper I've ever read. Rather simplistic writing style and weak story. A bit too much emphasis on the protagonists' inner struggles. Became repetitious.” see full review » see other reviews » |
“Both central characters, Reyes, who is Pain incarnated, and Danika, who has the talent of clairvoyance, which she’s never known nor understood, didn’t exactly start off on the right foot in the series debut. Readers finally learn, in this book, why Cronus, the Titan King, ordered Aeron, keeper of Wrath, to kill Danika. We also learn more about the Lords’ mortal enemy, the Hunters who’s sworn to annihilate the warriors.
Characters wise, Reyes and Danika are both such conflicted people that their inner struggles to overcome their doubts and fears were what kept me glued to this book, apart from the evolution of the central plot, that of recovering the artefacts that would help them unearth the cursed Pandora’s Box. I don't mind reading this book over and over again!
Love it!”
“Yay!! The middle was a little slow and I was kind of annoyed how it took them so long to overcome their differences and work together but the ending was amazing. There was a huge twist and that just made me so happy, love the twist about Danika. Oh I also love all the other characters the are getting introduced and all the new couples, they are so adorable. I feel so bad for Paris though, that guy is just having the worst time of his life right now it sucks. I really hope he ends up with his girl soon. Oh my new favorite couple Torin and Cameo who are such a random pairing and not even really a couple but I love how Torin has someone now since he is my favorite lord. Can't wait to read the next one as always it's about Sabin, he is such a guys guy I don't know how he is going to end up with a girl, well actually I do I know she is a harpy but I still want to know all the details. Oh and I love William [3 ”

Yes | No“Book 3 continues the search for the ancient artifacts that will lead to finding Pandora's Box. Reyes, Keeper of Pain becomes distracted from that quest after finding out that Danika Ford the women that had haunted him waking and asleep for several months now, has been kidnapped by the Hunters. She did not know she was being followed by those that claimed to be the good guys, she only knew that she had been put in another terrible situation and would do anything to ensure her and her families safety. The Hunters had offered her that protection, all she had to do was spy on the Lords of the Underworld. Returning to the fortress in Budapest had been a scary thought, with Aeron, Keeper of Wrath, out to kill her and her family, and then there was Reyes, he bothered her in a completely different way. Spending time with these demons, she started to realize that something just didn't feel right about what she was suppose to do. With desire running through her, she trusted these demons with the truth and could only dream for the best.
I am addicted to this series, the struggles of these wonderful characters keep me wanting more. The emotions of the characters radiate the depths of each warrior and demon, the conflicts, the similarities and the compromises that must be met. The description of each battle, argument, discussion and love scene is so precise it is easy to conjure in the minds eye. I felt the pull as Reyes flew to the heavens and the sorrow of Pain himself when she was gone. To have the written ability to make a person crave to know these warriors and demons alike is a wonderful gift, I am excited to know there are more to this series, it was left so undone. I wait for more of these beautifully tortured and tempting Lords of the Underworld. ”

This Lord of the Underworld novel was amazing. The action, the plot, the sex, the characters. Everything drew you into a world of demons and angles. Danika is the main female character that you instantly identify with as well as fall in love with. Reyes who harbors the demon Pain is pure sex. He’s kinky and dominant. A true male who knows how to conquer female lust.
I’d recommend this book in a second. It really was a read that I will NEVER forget or stop thinking about. Such depth and a tale that really captures the reader. I couldn’t put this book down and I guarantee you won’t be able to either. I’m placing this on both blogs (my other is erotica).
Read this book!!
