the beginning of this book was harder to get into than the rest of it was. but overall it was brilliant; constant beautiful language and imagery.

I'd recommend this jarring, fast-paced book to anyone who struggled with trying to please both her good and bad sides at once; anyone with an appetite for danger. The story is thrilling and the style is gripping.
I loved it when I was a bored teenager, and still like it because of how relevant it seemed to me at that time.
