“A wonderful conclusion to one of the best Fantasy book I've ever had the chance to read. Every single element was carefully explained and clicked just in place at just the right time and in just the right way to give a more than satisfactory end to the Mistborn trilogy. I was greatly surprised to the mystery of the :P , I actually didn't expect this at all.
What slightly dampened this last installment though, was the inner struggles of each characters - Sazed in particular - which took, as far as I'm concerned, too many pages even chapters throughout almost the whole book, and though I feel it was necessary I wish it had been dealt with less pages... It reminded me of how I had the same feeling of Sanderson dragging on in his first published novel Elantris. Unlike the first two installments, Sanderson emphasized heavily on the religious question just like he did in Elantris ( in a more restricted way since it was a stand-alone). His theories and analysis were actually quite interesting and I felt it added a very important layer to the world he's created. Without a doubt, Mistborn is also a way to have an insight of Sanderson's belief ( he's a member of the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints), which I believe, is quite interesting whether you're a believer or not. Still, it raises more questions than it gives answers, but it certainly gave even more depth to the story.
Overall however, Mistborn is definitely a keeper... If I was not restraining myself, I would actually buy the mass paperback versions in order to keep the hardcovers in a just-bought state. That's how much I liked it.”
“For the third book in a series it was well written. The reason a really liked it is that it ended the story, emphatically. It also was a little surprising in its ending. It is a well written book, however, without reading the first two books in the series, I wouldn't recommend it.”

The magic system is complex and without contradictions. It's the best I've ever read. The backstory and worldbuilding with it's slow reveal makes this trilogy a modern classic imo.”
“Great Ending to a great series. I especially appreciated the development of Spooks character although Kelsier is still my favorite from the first book”

I love the ending and how he pulls all the three of the books together. The middle book was good, and I enjoyed it... but the first and last are my favorites in this series. I look forward to the books Brandon Sanderson will write in the future! Yay!!”

I didn't see any of it coming, but I loved it! what a great little series. Now I need to read some other Brandon Sanderson books and see what I think. I really think this series would appeal to everyone. ”
