Excellent combination of humor and suspense, with references to characters in Peters' other series as a surprise bonus.

I loved Vicky Bliss and I was very surprised and excited when I saw Elizabeth Peters had written a new Vicky Bliss. Unfortunately, it was not good. The book was bland at best.
