This was the final book I needed to read in this series. It was just as good as the other two. I didn't think that there needed as much conflict in the end. Nevertheless, a great second book to the series.

Micki Jordan is a woman that blends in too well with the testosterone filled world of sports publicity.Which suits her just fine until Damian Fuller lays his toe curling kiss on her on that fateful New Year's Eve. Her attraction to Damian has haunted her particularly since Damian seems to have forgotten the kiss. So Micki enlist her sister Sophie to help take her from "one of the guys" to a woman no man, particularly Damian, can resist. Unknowingly she sets off a chain of events that makes her fantasies of Damian come true. But, can she handle his rules? The only thing on Damian Fuller's mind is baseball. As the star player and team leader of the New York Renegades, he has all he can handle trying to keep his career from falling through his hands. But after he shared that extemely hot kiss with Micki she keeps invading his thoughts. After spending a no strings attached weekend Damian tries to concentrate on his failing career. Now not only can he not forget about Micki he needs her help professionally. Faced with possible fatherhood he has to rely on Micki in a way he has never relied on any other woman. Can he prove himself to Micki or will she walk out of his life permanently? Hot Number is a lively book that will take you through the ups and downs of moving beyond insecurity to find love. Once again Ms. Phillips has created a lovable book that will become an instant favorite.

If you want to have a quick weekend read, pick up this and the other two and you'll be fine over a weekend beach trip. They're all light, quick reads without much heavy thought or intrigue in them.
