I was amazed at the different faces that fruit and vegetables could make. This book was a great read. It expressed several expressions that are made with fruits and vegetables.

I would use this in my classroom to show my students different expressions and what they mean.

This book goes through the different feelings that people have. The vegetables and fruits in the book show the emotions very well.

A good activity to do with this would be to have each student bring in a fruit you can peel. In class, they would create an emotion of choice on their fruit or vegetable. These would be displayed in the classroom for a few days and then sent home. If a child forgot their fruit or vegetable, they could draw one.

This book is great to teach about how to use your words. The book shows many different emotions. So, younger students especially can learn exactly how they are feeling.

A very cute book with pictures of fruit and vegetables in different phases of emotions. A great way to show kids different emotions and how our facial expressions tell the world how we feel. Could be used as shared reading during the first few weeks of school.
