The book Needful Things by Stephen King is my ideal book, with its subjects ranging from demons to psychology and human needs. One character I particularly admire (much to the horror of my middle school classmates) is Mr. Gaunt, the curio shop owner who finds out what people need, then sell it to them in exchange for a favor. What I liked about this "man" (later revealed to be the devil) is that he uses several seemingly innocent pranks played by the townspeople to form a more elaborate...

Didn’t Like It

The book started out very interesting. The characters themselves were interesting. The suspense/horror story unfolds and you're waiting...om- what happens next... (?) Then it's almost like the book is given to someone else to finish and it ends like some cheap scifi sat. night flick. I didn't even bother with the movie when it came out :(
