A very quick, inspiring read. I liked the first 2/3 the best as the author shared the lovely stories behind each of the childhood dreams he lived. An important read for anyone, made all the more touching coming from a man who faced his own death from cancer. Highly Recommended.

Way overrated. I feel like a terrible person saying anything bad about a dead person, but he seems way to full of himself and his methods in life.

A National Bestseller, I picked this one up as it has been popular since last year and I just haven't gotten to it. Not really MS material, but some of the HS students might read this one. This is the wisdom of Randy Pausch, a Carnegie Mellon professor of computer science, who is diagnosed with terminal cancer. He wrote his advice to others, and his own kids, into a lecture which he gave 9/18/07. It became so popular that he wrote it into a book. The lecture was also videotaped and is online at http://www.thelastlecture.com/. He is a dynamic speaker and a unique individual. His insight really makes you think. He died of pancreatic cancer 7/25/08.

A moral story. The sadness made me realize the lessons of it. How you should be able to do what you have always wished for, to become the person you want to be and to not miss the opportunities that are in reach. I think that Randy Pausch has influenced my life with his books, making me think ahead and plan into the future.

Loved this book. So many "pearls" throughout. Read this for a book-club, and found that one of the founding members (Amie Price) had had the author as a professor, when she attended UVA. Sad he died--really felt for his family, left behind.
