I downloaded the sample chapter on my Kindle and read it, but didn't really enjoy it. I laughed out loud a couple times, but found it boring. This was my first exposure to Sedaris' writing. Does it get better if I keep reading, or should I bail?

Honestly, if I had to limit myself to one author's readings for the rest of my life, it would be David Sedaris. Try "Naked" or "Me Talk Pretty One Day" - they're better intros the the wry and sweetly hilarious world he is known for.
