  • Fish Beaumont: The second oldest Beaumont, whose savvy controls wind and water. He's fourteen.

  • Poppa: Mibs' father.
  • Miss Rosemary: The preacher's wife.
  • Rhonda: Lester's mom. Lester has a tattoo of her name on his arm.
  • Momma: Mibs' mother. Her savvy is that she does things perfectly.

  • Bobbi Meeks: The rebellious daughter of Pastor Meeks. She is 16 and has a crush on Mib's brother Rocket. She accompanies the Beaumonts on their journey to Salina Hope Hospital.
