“This book held my attention, although the self-centered nature of the characters made me dislike them. The fact that the "successful" women at the centre of the story are deeply insecure and obsessed with romantic relationships was off-putting, but the structure of the book was interesting. It reminded me of The Canterbury Tales' structure, but without its humour or wit.
