Ben and Griffin find a 100 year old Babe Ruth red socks card that is worth 1,000,000 dollars , but a store owner named Palomino S .Wendel ripped them off by trading them for 100 dollars and is going to sell it to the highest bitter . Griffin was shocked that Swindle a.k.a S. Windle traded him 999,900 dollars short . So he assembled a team to get his card back . The only problem is they half to get in a skylight in Palomino's house and not set off enemy alarms . what do you think is going to happen ? Read it and find out .

What I like about Swindle is how the friends have sent an invitation to the old Rockford house at eight thirty pm.So their friends could sneak out of their houses. and the kids find a 1999 Babe Ruth card that's worth 1,000,000 dollars . I thought that was cool.Its kind of scary that the guy said he killed his wife with train tracks but the kid said it wasn't true. He didn't believe what his friend said.His friend was not actuly telling the truth. If you want find out more you should read Swindle its really an interesting book.

Swindle by Gordon Korman The main character in this story is Griffin Bing. He has a big mind. He likes to plan things with lots of details. His best friend is Ben Slovak during one of their adventures. They visit a house that will be torn down the next day. When they find a baseball card.It is of somebody named Babe Ruth. They take a card to a collector who's name is S. Windle Palimino who turns out to be a bad man. He only gives the boys 100 dollars. The rest of the story talks about the plan to get the card back. I read "Swindle" by Gordon Korman. It was a great book because as you got deeper into the book, the tension builds up in your body just waiting to know what's going to happen next. Ben and Griffen are best friends. Griffen is the "man with the plan." S. Windle Palomino is the owner of Palomino's Emporium. Griffen and Ben camped out at the old deserted Rockford house. Griffen found a Babe Ruth baseball card and almost got smashed by a wrecking ball. The card is worth one million dollars. Swindle cheated them and only paid them $160.00. When the boys realized they had been cheated, they set out to get the card back. You'll have to read the book to find out the exciting ending. Anna. Mrs. Wayne.

When the boys toughen up they decided to sleep at the apartment. One of the boys didn't sleep well he got up and looked around a little. When he looking he found a rare baseball card. In the morning the boys went to a baseball trading place. The man in charge said that baseball card was fake [and really it was a rare card]. Here is how it all starts. This boy is trying to get his card back because he sold it for one hundred dollars when it was really worth millions. So he gets some of his friends to help him. And he had to be real quite. Because that man has dogs. So he finds it. But the cops see him. Does he go to jail or does he get a free be ? But here's what I thought about the book. I liked it ..
