A long read but it helps you understand Hillary better and it definitely shows how amazingly intelligent she is.

Interesting to learn so much about the previous first lady. Very interesting history to say the least. However this book was LONG. Very LONG. A lot to wade through. Some that I breezed right over getting the gist just to be sure I didn't miss anything important. And I didn't. So, to say the least some it was obvious for political purposes and tooting ones own horn possibly? Not sure. I appreciated her honesty when responding to her husbands infidelity. And that she didn't glaze over it. I liked the fact that this book was written by her, or at the very least she was obviously heavily involved with a ghost writer-I'm sure we'll never know the truth on this point will we?-so there is a lot of first hand information in the book so we can see things through her eyes. I have to raise an eyebrow however that she doesn't even mention that she has, shall we say, a bit of a temper and a mouth on her and she uses it when she sees necessary. I think that she would have done herself and we her readers a favor by doing so. She's a strong woman whose risen to the top by being like a man when necessary. It's obvious that Mrs. Clinton is a woman and has feminine aspects but did she have to try and make it appear that she didn't have a whole of masculine in her by omission of the evidence?

This book gave me some great insight into the life that Hillary Clinton lived both as a first lady, and as she made her run for the NY Senate seat. She is intelligent, driven, passionate, focused, and very willing to admit mistakes. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants an insider look at the White House, politics, or the change woman all over the world are trying to carve out for themselves and their families.

I read this over a year ago and it provided me with some good perspective on HIllary. I truly admire her drive as a politician and the work she does to make our society a better place to live. She is a great role model for girls and women.
