“A true story whodunnit. Read this unusual book about the man who created lots of "old" vintage wine by reusing old bottles, faking labels, and blending existing wines, then selling them to ultra-rich gullible people for decades before he was caught. You'll never pay for an expensive bottle of wine again!”

“It is understandable that the author must include a lot of detail about wine so that the later events become even more critical, but at times I felt as if I was reading a reference book. The first few chapters of historical background and the last few chapters as the quest to discover whether bottles were fakes was at its climax were riveting. The middle was a bit flat.

“I loved this book ~ sort of a mystery story about wine counterfeiting. Greed and money obscure and make people buy that which may or not may be real.”
