For those at the crossroads of their career, it is a book that could give them some indication, but not necessarily answers. It certainly gave me a feeling that I am NOT an effing-crazy-job-hopping-rudderless character! Like to beleive so!!

The author interviews people who struggled to find what they really wanted to do in life. Issues they faced included other people's perceptions, lack of courage, drop in salary, balancing ethics and desires, and understanding where their passions lay.

How depressing! ha Actually, I took this book on a cruise with me when I was in between jobs/careers. I didn't know what I was going to do with my life. This was definitely NOT a book to take on a cruise or any vacation. Need something much more lighthearted and fun for a cruise! I never finished it. Oh, and about 10 years later, I still don't know what I'm going to do with my life.

it's very encouraging to see how many people could change their career, be who they want to be, what they desire to do for their lives , even with limited resources, or being in their own comfort zones for so long!s

Great book filled with stories of how people went after their dreams. Inspired me to leave ELIC and follow after my dream to teach ESL.

Would have been better if it skipped the profanity, which wasn't rampant, yet still peppered the stories.
