I have to think about this book a while before I can give a real review. I will say it was easy reading, the story flowed. I think the characters will live with me for a long time.

This book was not very good -- Have not read this author before and won't again. The only saving grace was the info about Cherokees and their rituals. The rest? Really bad.

I have read many books by Ellen Gilchrist and am never disappointed. The quote she uses in this title is from "Dune" == "Without change, something sleeps inside us and seldom awakens."
This is a story of love, death, the insanity of war, and how we overcome that tragedy.
