This is simply an amazing story whether it is told on film on in this medium. The back of the book describes it as a sister-project to the film...I think that is the best way to describe it. You should read this and see the film, I personally don't think it matters which order you do it in.

I just watched the movie. The book must be very intriguing, to say the least. A real look into the mystery of death, reincarnation and resurrection.

Should death be feared as an end or exulted as a beginning? Answers to interesting philosophical questions...

Art work is fantastic; story riveting. Have not seen the movie though.

The images in this book are beautiful-- much more than tour average coffee table book! A must own for any fan of the film.

The book of the movie, though I understand this follows the original script before it was retooled for a lower budget rather than the version that was eventually filmed with Hugh Jackman and Rachel Weisz. I have not seen the movie, but I'm told the book still follows it pretty closely. The artwork by Kent Williams fits the story very well.
