“Suprisingly disappointing ... it seemed as though he was just retelling the same stories from his previous books. Burroughs is a great author - but this book needed new material ... ”

In this book he's an adult and has a relatively stable life now, and the stories are decidedly more mature (and pleasantly funnier) than the earlier work of his that I have read. I do sometimes think that I'm reading essays by a little boy that wants a lot of attention, he has that type of style that tries to shock you a little bit, but this book was okay.”
“very funny”

This guy has a level of weird psychosis that doesn't touch the maintream reading world often, and it's refreshing to read his candid musings and memories. ”

Definately one of Burroughs better books.”
“I laughed out loud many times!”

Knows how to express what we were all thinking when we were kids, but didn't know how to say. If you're into this type of humor, you may be into Dave Egger's A Hearbreaking Work of Staggering Genius.”
