I enjoyed it. I think I picked it up too quickly after reading his brother's memoir, though, and the overlap made the stories less interesting for me. I'll read more of Burroughs' work, but I'll wait a little while first.

Hilarious! This book cemented Burroughs in my mind as one of the great comic writers of today. Each story is unique and offers something different. Really good writing!

If you read any of Augusten Burroughs's books, make sure you read this one. While I enjoyed his memoirs ('Running With Scissors' & 'Dry') quite a bit, this insane mish-mash of inappropriate short stories was by far my favorite of all his work. I laughed...and laughed... Oh, and I'm still laughing. All because of this book.

Another great book by Augusten Burroughs! I still can't believe someone actually lived his life. This book is very similar to Magical Thinking. Highly recommended...

This was another great read by Auguson Burroughs. I loved the and realted to the spookiness of dolls when there is more than 5. It cracked me up.

Had laugh out loud moments... but I kept wondering what the point of the book was. Come to find out, there wasn't one! Or I didn't think so anyway. There were things I was shocked to read, some things I found bizarre, and some parts could make you blush. It was still funny and I'd say read it if you have the time. Augusten was so open and honest I couldn't decide if I admired that quality or if he was just making it up for a laugh.

Oh thank God. Felt like such a troglodyte for being unable to finish "Running with Scissors," but I found this one to be quite a pleasant read.
